About

Modal Path Ethics

An independent philosophy publication built around a path-structural moral framework.

Modal Path Ethics is a project by Aidan Edward Lawson. It began as a moral framework and became a place to use that framework against reality while reality is still capable of answering back.

The framework concerns harm, continuance, burden, repair, and what actual transitions do to extant bearers. Orientation is where those ideas are defined. This page is about the publication around them.

What lives here

Applied Cases put the framework against concrete situations. Field Instruments examine the tools through which people classify, measure, coordinate, protect, and act. Tales of Distortion audit real events in which an instrument, story, or model stopped matching the field carrying its consequences. Longer engagements, books, and corrections keep the framework in motion rather than sealing it behind the first formulation.

Modal Path Ethics is one instrument among those it studies. It does not acquire jurisdiction over reality by naming it. If the framework loses contact, the framework is what has to move.
